Les Galopins du Sancy offers a variety of activities :

*At the Berthaire equestrian center :
– Teenage courses : a morning of passion for horses. A fun, caring approach to discovering and perfecting horse riding in all disciplines (acrobatics, cross-country, etc.). Ages 10 to 16.
Year-round by reservation.

– Pony mornings : a morning with the ponies to discover their world. Fun pony activities and pony care are on offer for all to enjoy.
For children aged 4 to 10, novice or experienced – (in July & August, activity takes place at Lac Chambon)

– Horseback rides (group or private, for novice or experienced riders)
Several themes on offer : discovering the region, sporty rides in the heart of the volcanoes.
Unusual themes : sunset rides, goat milking rides.
Rides from 1h30 to half a day, depending on the chosen circuit, with a qualified guide. Minimum age 10.
Year-round booking required.

– Le tour des Galopins : after brushing, styling and decorating their pony, children and parents discover a unique panorama of the Sancy countryside. For children aged 2 to 10, all year round by prior arrangement (except July/August).

Group or private horse-riding lessons : to discover or perfect horse-riding in all disciplines.
From age 10.
Year-round, by reservation.

-Equine mediation (brief therapies accompanied by the horse) : guided by the horse, its nature and intuitions, reconnect with yourself for greater peace, serenity and fulfillment. A 50-minute session with horses, supervised by a qualified practitioner of brief therapies (Ellipsy). Reservations required.

-Children’s camps with tented accommodation : a week’s immersion with ponies and horses. A daily routine punctuated by riding sessions, horse care and evening entertainment. A 100% horse-riding vacation ! From age 8, all riding levels

-Equestrian gite : welcomes touring riders and their horses for one or more nights. Rider accommodation in gite or tent. Accommodation for horses in boxes or paddocks. Meals available on site (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

*At Chambon sur Lac (Chambon beach side) in July & August :
– Pony mornings

– Les balades du Lac : Child riders and accompanying parents set off with the ponies for a unique family outing around Lac Chambon. To vary the pleasures and discover these exceptional landscapes, two circuits are proposed : 20 or 40 minutes. From age 2.

*In the medieval town of Besse :
– Les Balades à Besse : discover the historic town of Besse with your family and your pony ! A ride through the old town, combining fun, history and culture. For children aged 2 to 10, Thursday to Saturday during winter school vacations (Christmas and February) from 3.30pm to 5.45pm, departing every 45 min.
