A land of nature, discovery and experiences in the heart of Auvergne, the Puy-de-Dôme attracts many visitors every year thanks to the richness of its landscapes, activities and heritage. This appeal is down to the day-to-day commitment of those involved in tourism, who contribute to the region’s vitality and reputation.
Within the Puy-de-Dôme Departmental Council, the Tourism and Leisure Development Department supports this momentum alongside professionals, local authorities and tourism partners across the department.
The department’s ambition is to contribute to balanced, sustainable and attractive tourism by promoting the assets that define the identity of the Puy-de-Dôme :
Through the 2025–2030 departmental strategy, the Tourism and Leisure Development Directorate is supporting developments in tourism to address the challenges of the future and enhance the appeal of the Puy-de-Dôme throughout the year.
The Tourism and Leisure Development Department brings together men and women who are committed, day in, day out, to supporting tourism stakeholders, promoting the department’s assets and helping to raise the profile of the Puy-de-Dôme.
Through their expertise, their knowledge of the region and their close ties with partners, the teams help to bring projects to fruition, foster new collective initiatives and enhance the department’s appeal.
