The Massif du Sancy is made up of several valleys with a very Alpine character.
Despite its modest altitude, mountaineering is generally possible from early December to late April.
Ice cascades, couloirs, ridges, mixed, ski touring and steep skiing are all practiced here.
While it’s possible to climb a number of very difficult itineraries, ski slopes at over 45 degrees and climb icefalls up to Grade 6, the Sancy is above all a paradise of affordable itineraries, ideal for beginners and those wishing to perfect their skills in the various disciplines.

Sancy Summer activities :

Climbing / canyoning
Climbing (summer) : half-day only, beginners or advanced. Practice only on major routes.

Of course, all year round, if you’d like to try out routes in other mountain ranges, don’t hesitate to contact me !

Sancy winter activities :

Equipment : ice axes, helmets and harnesses are on loan. Each person must have their own boots and crampons (rental available, please contact me).
Clothing : mountain pants + jacket (pants + ski jacket may be sufficient for a first outing), warm gloves, hat, goggles (or mask), gaiters if you have them.

Mountaineering :
Every day in winter, on request, come and discover the many itineraries of the massif : ridges, couloirs, goulottes, icefalls…
For 1 or 2 people or existing groups.

Ski touring :
All winter on request, for 1 to 6 people.

Steep skiing :
Do you dream of skiing down couloirs at 40°+, but aren’t quite sure of yourself ? No problem, I can get you down them safely ! For 1 to 3 people, depending on the itinerary required.

These programs are only indicative, and I can of course offer you a tailor-made program to suit your needs !

Christmas vacations :
December 24 to 29, 2018 : Supervised Via Ferrata :
RDV at 2pm, duration of activity approx. 2h30, Price : 30€ and from 10 years old.
