Animal Caretaker for a Day – Auvergne Wildlife Park

Private activity open to children ages 6 and up
Activity duration : 3 hours

Program 1 (9 :00 a.m. to 12 :00 p.m.) :
– Tour of the kitchen and portioning of food
– Meeting with an animal keeper in the red panda enclosure
– Feeding the tigers, raccoons, collared bears, and sika(…)

– Tour of the kitchen and portioning of food
– Meeting with an animal keeper in the red panda enclosure
– Feeding the tigers, raccoons, collared bears, and sika deer
– Cleaning the binturong enclosure
– Tour of the sloth, pinched tamarin, and three-banded armadillo enclosures

Program 2 (9 :00 a.m. to 12 :00 p.m.) :
– Tour of the kitchen and portioning of food
– Meeting with an animal keeper on the giraffe walkway
– Feeding snow leopards, Barbary macaques, lemurs, and meerkats
– Cleaning the giraffe enclosure
– Tour of the pygmy hippopotamus enclosure

Program 3 (2 :00 PM to 5 :00 PM) :
– Tour of the kitchen and portioning of animal feed
– Meeting with an animal keeper in the tiger or cheetah enclosure
– Feeding the hippos, chamois and ibex, dholes, and otters
– Cleaning the binturong enclosure
– Tour of the South American enclosure (tapirs, capybaras, giant anteaters, etc.)

Program 4 (2 :00 PM to 5 :00 PM) :
– Tour of the kitchen and portioning of animal feed
– Meeting with an animal keeper in the snow leopard or lion enclosure
– Feeding the hippos, bush pigs, siamangs, meerkats, and porcupines
– Cleaning the Barbary macaque enclosure
– Tour of the giraffe building
