Enamelling workshop on lava, manufacture, demonstration and exhibition-sale. Discovery of the craftsman’s work : firing in the oven at 980°C, preparation of the colours.

Born in Mont-Dore, Bernard Constantin delicately works his 700,000-year-old lava slabs. Witness to the Auvergne’s intense volcanic activity, they come from a local quarry high up on the Capucin massif. The lava stones, cut into slices, are first hammered and then chiselled by Bernard.
