L’atelier la bonne trempe is an artisanal cutlery workshop located in La-Monnerie-Le-Montel. I work in a building dating back to 1750 : Le rouet de Boulary. I’ve kept the machines of yesteryear and given them a new lease of life by using them in my daily production.

It’s in this context that I invite you to come and discover the cutler’s craft, a modern profession steeped in know-how and tradition.

Additional information on location : Atelier La Bonne Trempe doesn’t look out onto Place de Boulary, but rather down below ! To get to the workshop, once you’ve passed the traffic lights and the railroad line, turn left immediately before the bridge (Rue des Forges), then take the hairpin bend on the right to pass under the bridge, and you’ll see the workshop !
