In our beautiful region of Combrailles on a plateau overlooking the Sioule, the village of Blot l’Eglise is alive and welcomes many craftsmen. Our oil mill is the last living one in our former township, which counted up to 12! The pullet mare was replaced by a small electric motor in 1932. We make traditional virgin walnut, hazelnut, rapeseed, sesame, pistachio, camelina, peanut, poppy, pumpkin seed, sunflower and almond oils. We also produce walnut wine, cakes made from walnuts and almonds, quality pasta, drawn with a bronze mold and based on durum wheat semolina from organic farming, since July 2020 we we roast coffee of Arabica origin from Ethiopia, Rwanda, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. You will also find, in our workshop-boutique, the regional products of craftsmen and producers from Auvergne.
Farmers’ market on May 1 and August 15, and Christmas market at the end of December. Welcome.
