Access to the Chastreix and La Tour d’Auvergne La Stèle areas :
– 1 connecting route to Chastreix (7 km) : awaiting confirmation as to whether or not the Plaines Brulées sector can be accessed.
– 2 routes to La Tour d’Auvergne La Stèle (8 km and 10 km).
Cross-country ski trails and links : marked, groomed trails (classic or skating), secured and reserved exclusively for Nordic skiing. Access to trails is subject to a fee.
Access is forbidden to pedestrians, snowshoers and dogs.
If snow conditions are not optimal for Nordic skiing, the trails remain marked and can be accessed free of charge.
On-site : ticket office, equipment rental, cross-country skiing lessons and a snack room.
(Please note : outside school vacations, the rental store and restaurant are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Access by car from Le Mont-Dore via the RD645 (towards La Tour d’Auvergne).
Free winter shuttle service from Le Mont-Dore/le Capucin on weekends outside school vacations and during all school vacations.
