Route description

Departure from Salle des fêtes. From Riom, drive around Gerzat along the A71 on the D210, then turn left at the Gerzat Sud traffic circle. At the Malintrat traffic circle, enter the village and turn left towards the village hall.

Step 1 : Depart from Salle des fêtes.

Step 2 : Turn left out of parking lot. At the intersection, cross the road. Go around the traffic circle, then along the Pont-du-Château road. Take the 1st left onto Rue du Soleil Levant. Continue straight ahead on the track and pass the intersection.

Step 3 : Take the 1st left. Take the left-hand track after the bridge. Follow the D54 to the left and take the 1st left. Turn right into Rue des Charrots, then go as far as the traffic circle. Continue straight ahead on the Grand’Rue and take the 1st right (impasse des Guelles).

Step 4 : After the bridge, turn left. At the intersection, turn left twice, then right into Rue des Peupliers. At the intersection, turn left onto avenue de la Motte. At the crossroads, turn left into Grand’Rue, then left into Rue du Sainfoin. At the end of the street, turn right and immediately left into rue de l’Hôtel de Ville. Go straight ahead on rue Sous le Château and follow it around the town center.

Next step

Step 5 : Opposite the church, just before the town hall, take the passageway to the town hall forecourt. Cross the parking lot and turn left. Continue along the Grand’Rue as far as Maison Glangeaud. Make a U-turn and turn right into Rue de la Nation. At the intersection with avenue de la Joselle, turn left, then immediately right into rue de la Croze.

Step 6 : Take the 1st right into rue du Pougrand, then left into avenue de la Motte. Turn left onto the grassy path. At the platform, turn right. Go downhill to join a path running alongside the road. Keep left, then head for the cemetery. Turn right into rue Léon Blum to reach the Salle des Fêtes.
