A pretty, bucolic stroll along oak-lined paths offering beautiful views of the Sancy massif.

Step 1 : From the start sign, follow the main road down past the town hall. At the crow’s-foot in front of the sawmill, turn right onto the D121, direction Miremont, for 250 m, until you reach a wide track on the right.
Step 2 : Take it, then go straight up to a crossroads.
Step 3 : Turn left and continue to the third track on the right (large oak tree).
Step 4 : Go up to the right (view of the Chaîne des Puys), then down (view of the Sancy massif). At the crossroads, turn right. At the next two intersections, turn right and continue to a T-junction.
Step 5 : Turn left. Continue straight on towards Les Gourds. At the crossroads, turn right onto the main road. After the silted-up pond, turn right to reach the Villosanges church square.

Depending on weather conditions, certain itineraries are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked trails. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your garbage.
Animals are not allowed on some routes.

Access
In Pontaumur, west of Clermont-Ferrand, turn right off the D 941 onto the D 987, then immediately left onto the D 206. At Les Isserts, turn right onto the D60 to reach Villosanges. The sign is on the parking lot in place de l’église.
