A pretty, bucolic stroll along oak-lined paths offering beautiful views of the Sancy massif.

Step 1 : Du panneau de départ, descendre la route principale et passer devant la mairie. À la patte d’oie située devant la scierie, suivre à droite la D121, direction Miremont, sur 250 m, jusqu’à un large chemin à droite.

Step 2 : Le prendre puis monter toujours tout droit jusqu’à un croisement.

Step 3 : Tourner à gauche et poursuivre jusqu’au troisième chemin à droite (gros chêne).

Step 4 : Monter à droite (vue sur la chaîne des Puys) puis descendre (vue sur le massif du Sancy). Au croisement, monter à droite. Aux deux intersections suivantes, s’engager à droite puis aller jusqu’à un carrefour en T.

Step 5 : Tourner à gauche. Poursuivre tout droit vers Les Gourds. À la croix, continuer à droite sur le chemin principal. Après l’étang (envasé), poursuivre à droite et rejoindre la place de l’église de Villosanges.

Additional information

For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on weather conditions, certain itineraries are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked trails. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your garbage.
Animals are not allowed on some routes.

Access

In Pontaumur, west of Clermont-Ferrand, turn right off the D 941 onto the D 987, then immediately left onto the D 206. At Les Isserts, turn right onto the D60 to reach Villosanges. The sign is on the parking lot in place de l’église.
