Route description
Departure from the church. From Riom, follow signs for Saint-Bonnet-près-Riom on the D2144. In the village center, turn left just before the church to reach the parking lot.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
Step 1 : Start from the church. Take the street alongside the village hall, then turn left at the stop sign. At the stream (le Sardon), take the path on the left before the bridge.
Step 2 : Continue along the stream, leaving 2 paths on your left, then climb towards the D2144 for 900 m. Cross the road and take the track opposite on the right. Take the first right and, at the top of the hill, continue left along the walnut grove.
Step 3 : Turn left to reach a road below. At the road, turn right, then left on a track 200 m ahead.
Step 4 : Follow the freeway for 200 m and take the first left. Go straight on until you reach the stop sign, then turn right into rue Francisque Gaillot. Drive 500 m.
Next step
Step 5 : Turn left on rue de l’Enclos. Turn right into a narrow alley. At the end of the alley, turn right, then left, just before the church, to return to the parking lot.
