The Béatrice HESS Aquatic Center includes :
1) The sports hall
It features two pools : a 25-meter competition pool equipped with six swimming lanes, with depths ranging from 2 to 3 meters. With a constant temperature of 27°C, it is the ideal place for training and competitions ; a 25-meter teaching pool with four swimming lanes and depths ranging from 1.30 to 1.60 meters, maintained at a temperature of 28°C. It provides a comfortable and safe environment for learning to swim.
2) The recreation hall, for guaranteed fun
It features an indoor water slide with three lanes ; a 31°C wading pool with water play features for the youngest visitors ; a 250-square-meter recreational pool equipped with massage jets, whirlpools, and a counter-current river, all maintained at a temperature of 30°C ; a 150-square-meter aqua-gym and aqua-bike pool, with a flat bottom at 1.30 meters and a temperature of 29°C, offering the ideal environment for dynamic workouts and available to the public outside of aqua-gym and aqua-bike classes.
3) A wellness area
It features a jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room, and a private terrace with lounge chairs.
4) Outdoor areas for outdoor fun
These include a solarium, mineral and plant-lined pool areas, water features, a slide, and a snack bar, all open from June through September when the weather permits.
Access requirements :
– Swim caps are required for children ages 3 and up
– Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult in swimwear at the poolside
– Bermuda shorts and swim shorts are prohibited (for children and adults)
– Proper attire is required ; swim shorts are prohibited, and swim caps are mandatory for children ages 3 and up.
Various activities, led by certified fitness instructors, are offered : aquagym (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10 a.m., registration online or by phone, €8/session), aquabike (Tuesdays and Fridays at 7 :00 p.m., online registration only, €9 per session), aquatraining, aqua fitness, swimming lessons for children and adults ; for more information : piscine@rlv.eu
Starting July 1, inflatable play structures will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 2 :30 p.m. to 4 :30 p.m. in the teaching pool.
Badminton net, table tennis table (snack bar open during the summer).
“ Come celebrate your birthday at the pool !” and enjoy the water slides, games, inflatable structure, and outdoor deck areas and/or the meeting room (to blow out your candles with your friends in case of bad weather) on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons (reservations and information available at the pool).
Swimming assessments (for summer camps, recreation centers, etc.) Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., upon presentation of ID, no reservation required.
Swim lessons are offered in the mornings before the pool opens, to learn to swim or improve your skills.
IN SEPTEMBER :
– Swim school, aquatic assessments for children (new participants only) :
September 2, between 2 :00 p.m. and 4 :00 p.m. for children born in 2021 and 2022,
On September 2 or September 3, between 5 :00 p.m. and 7 :00 p.m., for children born between 2016 and 2020,
On September 8, between 7 :00 p.m. and 8 :00 p.m., for teenagers born between 2009 and 2011,
On September 9, between 2 :00 p.m. and 3 :00 p.m., for teenagers born between 2012 and 2015.
– Sunday, September 6, from 1 :00 p.m. to 5 :00 p.m., aquatic trials offered by swimming and diving clubs. Information will be available starting at 10 :00 a.m. directly from the clubs during the club meet-and-greet at Cerey Park.
– September 7, 8, and 9 : Adult swimming ; aquatic tryouts for those 18 and older (newcomers only). For more information, contact the aquatic center.
– Monday, September 14 : All community activities resume : aqua aerobics, aquabike, aquatraining, swimming lessons for children and adults, and fitness classes.
Take advantage of the “one admission ticket = two pools” system—a single ticket grants access to the B. HESS and the M. RAVEL summer pool in Châtel-Guyon (open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., including July 14 and August 15 ; pools close at 7 p.m.).
