Step 1 : Boulevard Charles de Gaulle. In Aigueperse, on the Grande Rue, follow signs for the camper van park. Start near Place du Foirail.
Take the allée des Peupliers. At the next crossroads, turn right onto the second dirt track to the next junction. Continue straight ahead on the grassy path. At the T-junction with a gravel path, turn left, then right into Tressat as far as the road.

Step 2 : Turn right onto the road and, at the crossroads, left onto a wide track. At the crossroads (croix des Rameaux), turn right up to the plateau.

Step 3 : Go straight ahead, then turn left after 70 m. Continue to the top of the plateau. Turn left, then left again 50 m further on. As you go downhill, take the first path on the right, skirting the Château des Bérangers enclosure, and turn right into Rue Saint-Pierre as far as the cross.

Step 4 : Turn right uphill. At the stop sign, turn left onto the track and continue uphill. At the stone wall, turn left and follow the grassy path to the road (Chaptuzat-Haut). Take the road on the left, passing the wash-house, and after 100 m, turn right up the Chemin du Puits. After the farm, at the last house (cross), turn left along a wide track. Cross the road to Château de la Roche.

Next step

Step 5 : Go down the grassy path, ignoring the side paths. At the cross,
(rest area), follow the road to the left for 250 m. Take the first large track on the left as far as the D12. Turn right, then right again at the next crow’s-foot,
join the start via route de Chaptuzat and allée des Peupliers.
