Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Step 1 : Cross the road and turn left into the “Chemin sous le Stade”. Follow the “Thermal Express” to a fork just before the second bridge.

Step 2 : Turn right uphill, and at the bridge, take the first path on the right. At the crossroads, go left, skirting a field and passing under the high-voltage power line. After the field, go straight ahead. Turn right at the fork. Continue straight on, ignoring the side paths. 150m after a gravel storage area, take the right-hand path up to a crossroads at the top of the hill.

Step 3 : Turn left and stay on the hillside track (PV1 view of St-Hippolyte and Puy de Dôme). At the road, turn right and, at the stop sign, left into Rue du Lac, then right into Rue de Bellevue. Continue straight ahead into impasse du Chalusset. Turn right and pass under the pumping station. Go downhill (PV2 overlooking Châtel-Guyon) to the stream.

Step 4 : Cross the bridge, turn right and follow the shops. Pass between the Casino and the Thermes. At the road, turn left, then right. Follow the stream on the right bank. Turn right at the fork. At the crossroads, turn left, then right on Avenue de l’Europe. Return to the starting point.
