Route description
Between the Combrailles plateaux, the Chaîne des Puys and the Limagne plain, this region is a real treasure trove: water and stone in all their forms (architecture, sculpture, fountains and springs…).
This tour “At the gates of Riom” will take you from Mozac and its Cistercian abbey to Châtel-Guyon, a spa town with 12 springs.
Then you’ll cross Gimeaux with its petrifying springs to reach Combronde, a wine-growing village.
