Between the Combrailles plateaux, the Chaîne des Puys and the Limagne plain, this region is a real treasure trove : water and stone in all their forms (architecture, sculpture, fountains and springs…).
This tour “At the gates of Riom” will take you from Mozac and its Cistercian abbey to Châtel-Guyon, a spa town with 12 springs.
Then you’ll cross Gimeaux with its petrifying springs to reach Combronde, a wine-growing village.

Step 1 : This tour “Aux portes de Riom” takes you from Mozac and its Cistercian abbey to Châtel-Guyon, a spa town with 12 springs.
Step 2 : Then you’ll cross Gimeaux with its petrifying springs to reach Combronde, a winegrowing village.
Step 3 : Finally, on the last part of the tour, you’ll encounter the first difficulties with the côte des Ballages before arriving at the gour de Tazenat, an exceptional natural volcanic lake.
Approx. 3 hours at an average speed of 20 km/h.
All year round daily.
