Circuit des volcans – La boucle des Dômes (boucle cyclo n°13)

This 83km route starts at the foot of the giant of the Dômes: the Puy de Dôme (1,465 m).

You’ll move away from it to take in the exceptional views of its neighbours: the puy de Pariou, the puys des gouttes and chopine… and then reach the Sioule river,(…)

This 83km route starts at the foot of the giant of the Dômes: the Puy de Dôme (1,465 m).

You’ll move away from it to take in the exceptional views of its neighbours: the puy de Pariou, the puys des gouttes and chopine… and then reach the Sioule river, which offers some pleasant bends along the way, as well as the Montfermy waterfall, where you can take a refreshing break.

You will return to the starting point after circling the Puy de Dôme.

There are two ways of shortening the route:
– Bonnabaud-Champille,
– St Pierre Le Chastel – Bannières.

Approximately 4 hours 10 minutes at an average speed of 20 km/h.
