Route description
This tour offers a chance to discover a natural environment that is still sometimes wild : the Livradois-Forez region, with its vast, undulating high plateaus such as the Hautes-Chaumes !
Along the way, you’ll discover the Forez relief, such as the Hautes-Chaumes, vast moors where pastoral farming was once the rule, and where a few jasseries (shepherd’s huts housing families and animals for cheese production) still remain. You’ll also discover beautiful valleys with meandering streams.
