From Viverols you’ll reach the Montpeloux volcano and its magnificent basalt organs, before linking up with the Croix de l’homme mort (Loire department) and Barracuchet passes. You’ll then continue northwards, where you can link up with the FFC mountain bike area at Bois Noirs (Loire). On the way back, you’ll ride over bare blueberry and heather moorland, offering magical panoramas of the Monts d’Auvergne and the Alps, then switch to the Col des Pradeaux and Col de Chemintrand to take in the many forest vistas. Finally, back to Viverols to discover its castle and medieval quarter. A complete circuit to discover varied and magnificent landscapes, exceptional panoramas and all the natural and heritage points of interest of this territory (castle, Jasseries, basalt organs…).
