– The Villemont estate (château).
– Manor houses.
– Panoramic view from the top of the Montclavet hill (off the circuit, at 400 m).
Step 1 : From the start sign in Place Saint-Jean, take the main street in the direction of the church. Before the town hall, turn left into rue du Champ Petit, then right into rue de la Marche. At the crossroads, stay on rue de la Marche and continue straight ahead on the path to the crossroads in the hamlet of Moulin Roux.
Step 2 : Turn right into rue de Moulin Roux. At the D93b, turn left into rue Saint-Julien. At the picnic area, turn left and follow the D93 for 200 m, skirting the Villemont estate (château). Leave the road for a wide track opposite. Go straight ahead until you reach a T-junction, then turn right. After 30 m, turn left until you see the Ussel sign on the C4.
Step 3 : Turn left. At the fork, exit the village on the right (manor houses). Stay on the road (view of the Bourbonnais region). At the crossroads at the top of the hill, level with a reservoir, go straight ahead. Go straight down the gravel path towards Le Marais. At the D132, turn left towards La Chapelle. Cross the hamlet (Notre-Dame d’Andelot chapel). Retrace your steps for 150 m and fork right into the Chemin de Champ Gaillard (manor house). Climb the Montclavet hill to the highest point (off the circuit, panoramic view at 400 m).
Step 4 : Turn right at the first crossroads downhill. Stay on the main road (view of Puy de Dôme). At the first houses, take the route des Dots through the village to a T-junction. Turn left onto route de la Côte Rousse, then right onto the second track to a low stone wall.
Step 5 : Leave the track and turn left down a path in the undergrowth. At the road (manor house), turn left and go straight on to Les Bourgs. At the fork, turn left towards Vensat and return to the starting point.
