From Verrières to Beaunit

Step 1 : Departure from Manoir de Veygoux. Descend towards the river. Leave the waterfall on your left and continue straight ahead. On the main road, turn left. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. At the next crossroads, turn right before the bridge.

Step 2 : Continue along the forest (on the right, the maar de Beaunit = volcanic crater). At the bend, turn left. Drive around the Suc de Beaunit undergrowth. At the old quarry, turn left. Go down to the main path, then turn left. Then right to the farm track, and right again into the meadow.

Step 3 : Cross the main road and continue straight ahead. Follow the forest and the sucq des Filles on the right. Turn left on the GR 441 and walk around the puy de Verrières. At the railroad line, turn left through the woods to the road. Cross the road at the foot of the puy de Thiolet. Go straight on to the 2nd intersection and turn right.

Step 4 : Continue straight on until you reach the main road. Just before the road, turn left at the hairpin onto the GR. Continue for approx.
700m, then turn right and continue to the parking lot at the Manoir de Veygoux.
