The Tourist Office offers an original and fun activity to enjoy with family or friends : a one-day road trip mystery trail, to be completed in your own car. Set off to explore the three ‘Petites Cités de Caractère®’ closest to Clermont-Ferrand : Saint-Saturnin, La Sauvetat and Vic-le-Comte.
Your mission : the Étoile Saturniale, a precious jewel belonging to Queen Margot and inherited from Catherine de’ Medici, was stolen over 400 years ago. Today, your team of detectives is taking on this legendary case. Armed with a detective’s case full of props, solve age-old mysteries by combining observation, deduction and teamwork.
This immersive outdoor treasure hunt offers different levels of investigation (a children’s trail for ages 8 and over and an adult trail), allowing both beginners and experienced players to explore the local heritage whilst having fun.
Practical information :
• You can set off from the tourist information offices in Aydat, Vic-le-Comte or Saint-Saturnin, or from the Bistrot d’Ici (subject to opening hours and periods).
• Collect the kit between 10.00 and 11.00 ; return it before 17.00.
• A full driving licence, your own vehicle and a deposit cheque (€250) are required.
• Make sure you wear suitable footwear, bring water and dress for the weather.
