Route description

Departing from Château-sur-Cher, this walk will take you through the Cher gorges.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Step 1 : ? ? Virer à gauche sur le chemin qui monte en sous-bois. En haut de la montée à 10m sur la
gauche du chemin, (point de vue sur les gorges du Cher). Poursuivre jusqu’à un chemin sur la
gauche.

2 – L’emprunter et descendre sur le chemin principal pour atteindre le moulin de Chambon
avec un point de vue sur le Cher. Remonter la vallée du Cher et après avoir franchi le pont dans
le village, prendre la première rue à droite. Traverser la route et monter en face. A la route
suivante, monter en face. Dans la montée prendre le premier chemin à droite puis contourner
l’église par la droite pour rejoindre le point de départ.

Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
