Route description

This route, starting from the village of La Crouzille, will take you through the Combraille bourbonnaise, the Bouron valley and its many crosses.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step :

Étape 1 : Take this road to the right for 150m, then fork left onto a grassy track leading up between hedges. Turn left at the fork in the wood. At the road, turn right. At the first
house in ‘chez Chamard’, turn left then ignore a track on the right. At the fork, continue along the road to the right for 150m until you come to a track on the right.

Étape 2 : Take this grassy track. At the road, turn right. At the crossroads, take the road on the right for 30m then take the track on the left. Ignore a track on the left, walk alongside ‘l’étang de chez Minard’ then cross the hamlet. At the crossroads with the D503, go straight ahead towards ‘Chez Gaude’. At the T junction, keep right. At the next crossroads, turn left to get back to the start via rue de la Balette.

Pour votre sécurité, prenez toujours avec vous une bouteille d’eau, un chapeau, des vêtements chauds et contre la pluie, et équipez-vous de chaussures adaptées à la marche.
Selon les conditions météorologiques, certains itinéraires sont déconseillés par mauvais temps (brouillard) ou ne sont pas praticables, voire interdits, durant la saison hivernale.
Certains sites sont fragiles, restez sur les sentiers aménagés. Évitez de cueillir les fleurs sauvages et de dérangez la faune. Ramassez vos déchets.
