Étape 1 : Start at Fontaine de La Courteix. With the cross in the background, take the road downhill, crossing the railroad line. At the entrance to Beauloup, turn left. In the square, keep left. Pass the Rûche des Puys. On leaving Beauloup, turn left. After 100m, turn right. Continue for about 800m to the crossroads, then turn right.

Étape 2 : At the next intersection, turn right and continue to the road. Cross the road and continue to the railroad. Cross it, continue to the crossroads of forest tracks and go straight on.

Étape 3 : After 200 m, turn left onto the path bordered by a stone wall, then right. Join the forest track, turn right, then left. At the road, turn left. At the parking lot, climb the path, turn right and follow the forest track for about 1.4 km to the large crossroads.

Étape 4 : Turn right as far as Beauregard. At the village entrance, turn right along the watering place. Continue along the GR, leaving one path to the left and one to the right. At the edge of Bois Fermé, enter the forest along the stone wall. At the end of the wood, follow the meadow then turn right. Go straight ahead at the next crossroads.
