Step 1 : Take the path between the start sign and the reservoir. At the T-junction, go left, then, just before the road, go right. At the crossroads, turn left. Stay on the main road until you come to a junction with a wide track. Cross it and continue straight ahead until you reach a crossroads.
Step 2 : Go right up to an intersection at the foot of a puy. Go left downhill to a crossroads. Go up to the right. At the fork, turn left and go straight down to a T junction almost at the edge of the forest. Go right, uphill, past a crossroads to the next junction (view of the Sancy massif, Chaine des Puys, Corent plateau).
Step 3 : Turn right, then immediately left. Continue through the forest, staying on the main path. At the crossroads, go down to the left and, at the fork, continue left to reach a road. Follow this road to the right (view of the Château de Lachaux-Montgros) for 100 m. Go downhill to the left and, after skirting a pond and crossing a road, go straight to the château (view of the Comté, information panel). Follow the road below the château. At the crossroads, follow the road to the left for 250 m, then turn right onto a track to reach a road. Continue along this road for 150 m until you come to a path on the left.
Step 4 : Go left into the forest. After 50 m, turn left and continue until you reach a crossroads. Turn left and, after the first houses, go right down into the forest (view of Sallèdes). At the crossroads in the forest, turn right up a very wide gravel path. At a false flat, turn left onto a wide track. After 50 m, go straight up to the summit of Pic des Fleurides (information panels). Continue along the path. After the descent, continue straight ahead on a wide track. At a flat spot, turn left. At the top, turn right to reach the parking lot.
