Route description
A short and easy itinerary, despite a few steep inclines, that leads along the 2 sides of the Bave valley and in the footsteps of the old buronniers. You’ll discover the ruins of some very old burons, the “tracs”, in a beautiful summer pasture area.

Step 1 : Monter à gauche derrière l’église pour rejoindre la rue principale (D23). La descendre à gauche, passer à gauche d’un abreuvoir et continuer tout droit jusqu’à un carrefour. Poursuivre en face sur la D23, direction Allanche jusqu’au panneau Lemazet.
Step 2 : Quitter la route pour monter le chemin à droite. Continuer sur ce chemin principal (PV1 : vue sur le Forez et les éoliennes d’Ally). Longer par la gauche le bois de la Barre. Au croisement, descendre à gauche. Après le ruisseau, continuer (PV2 : vue sur le buron et les « tras » d’Anzat – vestiges d’habitat rural ancien -) jusqu’à une intersection en T.
Step 3 : Descendre le chemin à gauche et poursuivre sur le chemin principal jusqu’à une route (aire de pique-nique avant la route). Partir en face (PV3 : vue sur le signal du Luguet) et, à 100 m, descendre à gauche. Traverser le ruisseau par le pont de pierre et remonter vers le Maset. Dans le virage, à l’entrée du hameau, prendre la sente à droite et aller jusqu’à la route. La traverser et monter par le chemin en face pour arriver à la D23. Poursuivre à droite sur la route pour rejoindre le point de départ.

For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on weather conditions, certain itineraries are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked trails. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your garbage.
Animals are not allowed on some routes.

How to get there : From the A75, exit 17 Saint-Germain-Lembron, continue towards Ardes-sur-Couze on the D214, then follow the D23 to Anzat-le-Luguet. Departure sign on parking lot in front of the church.
