This walk, starting in Saint Hilaire, will take you on a tour of the local heritage and church.
Étape 1 : Take the grassy path on the right. Go straight on until you reach a road. Follow it to the right for
300m until you reach a crossroads. Turn right onto the road to reach Le Courthial. 100m after leaving the hamlet at
, follow the road uphill to the left (180° panoramic view). At the top of the hill,
take the first track on the left. Follow the ridge until you reach a road. Turn right onto this road. At the ‘Cédez
le passage’ sign, go left for 30m to a tree-lined path on the right-hand side.
Étape 2 : Follow the path, cross a road and continue along the track opposite. Turn right down the road. Go straight on at
. At the road, turn left along a pond and then right towards a
building. Take the path to the left of the barn. Go past a low stone wall and pond
. Turn left at the farm, then left again at the fork in the road. Just before the cross at
St-Hilaire, turn right and continue along the track opposite. At the road, turn left. 100m further on
, take a track on the right. Cross a road. Take the Chemin de la Suchette opposite.
Return to the starting point by going around the church to the right (old-fashioned farming equipment on the esplanade).
All year round daily.
For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
