To Saint Georges de Mons. The departure sign is on Avenue de la Libération near the Mairie.
Step 1 : Turn left. After the GAEC, turn right at the cross. Ignore two side paths. Above the pond, at the crossroads, go straight ahead (Puy de Dôme and Massif du Sancy) and cross two successive roads. Continue straight ahead on the road towards the hamlet of “Le Mazal” until you reach the sign on the right for “Rouissoirs des Bruyères”. Take the grassy path on the right (Rouissoir : Bassin à rouir) to a T-junction. Turn right. Follow the adjacent paths until you reach a road.
Step 2 : Cross it in the direction of “L’étang des Marsins”. At the fork, turn left, then take the first track on the right. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead until you reach a road (cross). Turn right for 100 m, then left into “Rue de l’Étang”. At the pond, take the first road on the right. Turn right at the next crossroads. Pass under the high-voltage power lines and turn left onto the sports trail. As you go downhill, turn right. Pass a stream. At the intersection, leave the sports trail and turn right onto a road. Cross the road to enter the “Allée des Troènes” in the Cité. At the end of the driveway, turn right for 50 m, take the downhill path to the left, then continue right to the “STOP” sign. Follow the road to the right until you reach the starting point.

Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
