Route description

Start at the soccer pitch. From Riom, follow signs for Maringues on the D224. In Saint-Laure, cross the town center and turn left towards the sports fields. Park near the dovecote.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Step 1 : Start from the soccer pitch. Head towards the leisure center. At the crossroads, turn left. Pass the cemetery on your left, then the tobacco drying sheds.

Step 2 : At the intersection, turn right, then right again after 50 m. Cross a ditch and turn right onto the wide track.

Step 3 : At the tobacco drying shed, take the road to the left. After the bridge, continue to the road and turn left, then immediately right at a green gate. Continue along the right-hand track to La Côte Rouge. Cross the village and, after the bridge, take the steep track opposite.

Step 4 : Cross the first road, then the D224, and take the track on the right after the road. Turn right at the fork, then right again at the cross. Leave the dovecote on your right and join the tobacco drying sheds at the entrance to the village.

Next step

Step 5 : Go straight on, cross the bridge and turn right along the river. At the ponds, continue left towards the village, then cross the D224 to return to the parking lot.
