– Puy de Fan.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step :

Étape 1 : From the parking lot, cross the road and walk down the street opposite to reach the start sign. Continue along this road and take the first asphalt path on the right (GR 30), which passes close to the dolmen (on the right). 100 m further on, turn right to join the road.

Étape 2 : Go up to the left for about 30 m, then turn right until you reach a T-junction: leave the GR 30 and turn left. At the D788, turn right for about 30 m. Take the first track on the left, then immediately turn right onto another track as far as the D794. Turn left on the road to the first track on the right.

Étape 3 : Follow this track straight ahead and, after a wooded area, climb to the right towards the summit of Puy de Fan and descend to a T-junction. Turn left to Fohet. Take the D145 to the right, past the church (shared section, in opposite direction, with PR jaune de la Vallée de la Monne) and go as far as the first bend.

Étape 4 : Leave the road and turn right. After the village, turn left at the next two forks. At the next crossroads, turn left and continue straight on to the hamlet of Le Mas. At the esplanade, turn right into Rue des Bergères, then right again. Cross the Place de la Liberté, go straight down and turn left at the intersection. After a hairpin bend, the path turns left into a wood. Climb a path on the right to a rocky outcrop, then follow a fence to the junction with a track.
