Route description

Departure from the school parking lot. From Clermont-Ferrand or Riom, follow signs for Marsat. Drive through the town center, then turn left just after the town hall to park in the school parking lot.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Step 1 : Start from the school parking lot. Go through the metal gate between the school and the wood-colored building. Turn right immediately. At the traffic circle, turn right onto Chemin des Palles. Go straight ahead at the stop sign. At the end of the road, turn right. Go straight ahead at the intersection.

Step 2 : Turn left into rue du Gour. Cross the grassy point and the road to the left, then join the Chemin du Chassaing. At the end of the path, turn left onto the tarmac road (chemin de l’Aiguillon). At the T-junction (cross), turn right onto the route de Marsat.

Step 3 : At the start of the bend, turn left onto chemin de la Pisciculture. After 100 m, turn right onto chemin du Gargouilloux. Take the first left. Follow the château wall to the end of the road, then turn left. At the intersection, keep left.

Step 4 : Cross the road and turn left. At the end of the road, take the Chemin des Chaneaux. Go straight on until you reach a stop sign, then turn right. After 70 m, turn right onto rue de la Pommeraie.

Next step

Step 5 : Take the left-hand bend, then turn right after the last house. At the end of the passage, take the 2nd right (rue de la Treille). Continue straight ahead. Turn left into impasse du Cloître.

Step 6 : At the cloister, take the stairs to the left and join rue de la Tour opposite. Turn left and, at the end of the street, turn left, then right into rue des Tilleuls. At the end of the street, turn right, then left, allée des Écoles. Continue straight ahead through the town hall park to reach the school parking lot.
