Étape 2144 : Immediately turn right and follow the Chemin de Ronde overlooking the valley. At the ‘Porte Montmarault’ district (tower), turn left. At the fork, take the left path, join a small road, and continue straight ahead to the hamlet of Les Petites Ternes.
Étape 1 : Cross it and take the path opposite towards Cote Bidon. At the first houses in the hamlet, turn right. At the next two T-junctions, turn left and take the path that turns into a small road. At the entrance to the hamlet of Montingeat, turn right until you reach an intersection at the entrance to the forest.
Étape 2 : Take the left track. At the T-junction, turn left. At the next junction, turn left and join the RD 2144. Cross it, follow it on the left for 100 m and go up the path on the right. At the intersection with a small road, continue straight ahead. Cross the Maison Rouge farm and join the D 502. Continue straight ahead. Join the D 503, turn left and continue to the La Prade pond (viewpoint over the Montaigut hill).
Étape 3 : Pass to the right on the pond’s dyke. Continue left on the path along the water (picnic tables). Cross a footbridge and continue to the first path on the right, just before the buildings. Take it to a road. Follow it to the right for 100 metres. Turn right towards the town centre. The path runs alongside a sports field, passes under a road bridge and crosses a conservation orchard.
