MarkingThe starting point, at Place de la Victoire near the cathedral, marks the start of the three routes through Clermont-Ferrand’s historic center. An original ground marking guides your steps along the route. It’s made up of medals embedded in the pavement of the streets and sidewalks. The one on the Port route features the effigy of Urbain II.
Parcours du Port… a stroll through the district of antique dealers, antiquarian booksellers and art galleries.
A prestigious circuit for the richness of the heritage encountered: Gothic cathedral, town houses, sculpted fountains, Romanesque jewels, of which Notre-Dame-du-Port, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the most outstanding example.
