Fishing in family: artificial lake

Born from the extraction of aggregates, the artificial lake of Le Mas has a total surface area of 9.5 ha and it’s probably one of the most regular sites of fishing of the department.

Its supply in water by the alluvial layer and its variable depth offer a very welcoming environment to the numerous species of fishes of calm water. Moreover, its accessibility and its proximity with the city of Issoire make it a very popular site for walkers and joggers.
