At the foot of the Puy de Dôme and in the heart of the Clermont-Ferrand metropolitan area, Royatonic is a place for rejuvenation and relaxation. Under the large wooden dome, come and enjoy the energy and benefits of water heated to over 30°C—sourced from the volcanic soils of Auvergne—all year round : the Grottes Rouges spring, tapped just outside the center.

Enjoy two large indoor and outdoor pools, a jacuzzi, hot and cold baths, and a relaxation area featuring two steam rooms, saunas, and a rest room… There are plenty of water features to explore at any time : bubble beds, a waterfall, a jacuzzi, a counter-current swim, massage jets with varying pressure levels, swan necks, a geyser, fun showers, and more.

For technical reasons, as of April 2025, we can no longer use the Grottes Rouges spring to supply the Royatonic pools.
Pending a resolution to this situation, and to ensure compliance with water quality standards, the baths are currently supplied with tap water.
This solution is provided for in our operating regulations in accordance with our regulatory authorities, notably the ARS (Regional Health Agency).
We are doing everything possible to restore the water supply from our spring as soon as possible.
