Sentier du Puits qui bout
Gimeaux
The “Sentier du Puits qui bout” (Boiling Well Trail) takes you through the village of Gimeaux and its petrifying springs.This very accessible 2km walk starts at the foot of the travertine rock, near the petrification building.
Along the way, you can discover several petrifying springs (Source des Ronzières, Source du Ceix, etc.).
The presence of salt in these springs encourages the development of specific seaside flora (plantarin, samole de Valerand, etc.).
