Located at an altitude of 1400m, the Capucin site offers a pleasant setting for climbing in a green setting in the heart of the Haute Dordogne valley.
Oriented East/North-West, Le Capucin has a total of 74 routes, from 15 to 80m (1 to 3 pitches) and from level 4a to 8a+.
Several faces are accessible : the North Face, the West Face, the East Face and the Aiguillette.

How to get there :
From Le Mont-Dore, take the D645 towards La Tour d’Auvergne for 3 km.
At Rigolet-Haut, turn left to reach the Salon du Capucin parking lot.
Continue on foot for 500m, where a tarred forest track leads to a clearing after a water reservoir.
Follow the path to the left, which leads to the foot of the North Face.

Special recommendations :
Helmets strongly recommended.
Rather cool micro-climate.
