Perdrix-Ferrand site
Station summit, above the arrival station

Access : From the gondola arrival station, the Perdix take-off is 30m above, continue along the path to reach the Puy Ferrand
(1850m), a magnificent grassy dome.
Warning : overflying the Chaudefour valley behind the take-off is forbidden within 300 m of the ground.

Le Chambourguet site
Arriving at Super-Besse, Le Chambourguet is the mountain on your right above the resort.

Access :
From Super-Besse, either walk up from the resort (difference in altitude 230 m) or drive to the water tower above the VVF, park and continue on foot along the path, then turn right to the summit.
(elevation 100m – 15 mn)

Le Paillaret site
West of Super-Besse, above Col de la Geneste
Alt 1720 m
O / NO / S / SO / SE
Vertical drop : 360 to 540 m
Landings :
-Official Super-Besse (vertical drop 430
m)
– Au col (vertical drop 360 m)
– Le Gelat (vertical drop 540 m – glide ratio 8)
– At the summit
How to get there :
– from Col de la Geneste, walk up the GR (gradient 360m, 45 mins)
– from Super-Besse, take the gondola up to the Col de Couhay, then descend to the take-off point across the plateau (20 mins).
– from la Perdrix, it’s easy to fly to Puy de Paillaret
Excellent thermal efficiency, a paradise for wagga, soaring and resting at the summit.
