Route description

Starting in Servant, this walk takes in the Étang de la Prade and the Combrailles bocage.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step :

Étape 1 : Turn left. At the road, turn left and take the first track on the left. At the crossroads in the hamlet, go straight ahead and turn onto the first road on the right. Follow this road for 600m. Leave the hamlet of l’Etang on your right. At the crossroads, take the track on the right as far as the first grassy track on the right.

Étape 2 : Follow this to the village of Crozet. Turn left onto the small road and then right at the crossroads. At the end of the hamlet, on the bend, take the track on the right and go as far as a road.

Étape 3 : At the road, turn right and take the second track on the left. Continue for 800 m (view of Servant).
At the junction with a tarmac track, turn left. At the crossroads, turn left onto the road and at the crossroads, turn left onto a track. Go up to a road, turn right and then immediately left onto Rue des Rochers.
At the crossroads, follow the route du Presbytère back to the starting point.

For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
Animals are not allowed on some roads
