Its privileged location at the foot of the Puy de Dôme and in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys provides easy access to a wide range of outdoor, sporting and cultural activities, depending on conditions and the season.

Hiking in the heart of the volcanoes : loop, daisy-chain or itinerant circuits departing from the gîte. Horse riding, mountain biking, fishing.

Must-see tourist sites : Panoramique des Dômes (5 min), Vulcania (15 min), Le Volcan de Lemptégy (15 min), La Grotte de la Pierre de Volvic (30 min), Clermont-Ferrand : L’Aventure Michelin, ASM Expérience (25 min).

Ski area : Sancy massif (35 min. away) : Mont Dore and Super-Besse ski resorts for downhill skiing.

Nordic activities : cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, Nordic walking and dog sledding : at the Centre de pleine nature de Pessade, Domaine de Guéry, Murat le Quaire, Chastreix, Orcival.

Fitness and well-being : spas at Royat, Châtel-Guyon, La Bourboule, and the Royatonic spa (15 min away).
