Chalet “Les Clarines” boasts a 180° panoramic view of the village of Le Mont-Dore, the mountains and the great waterfall.

Rated 4 stars by Thermauvergne standards, the chalet is ideally placed for winter sports, spa treatments, hiking or any mountain activity in summer or winter. Located 500 m from the town center, 800 m from the Thermes du Mont-Dore and 1 to 4 km from the various ski areas, places of interest and entertainment.

100 m² of living space on two levels, including four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two WCs.
Warm, natural, solid pine interior.
Newly built in 2010 and interior refurbished in 2024.
Access to the chalet is on one level, with no steps to climb from the hamlet lane.
Two adjoining reserved parking spaces.

First floor :
Entrance hatch with ski rack, opening onto an open-plan living room with open-plan kitchen completely redone in early September, dining room and living room with wood-burning stove, opening onto two east/south-facing terraces.
A separate bedroom (140 cm bed) with en-suite shower room and WC.
+ Laundry room (with washing machine and dryer).

First floor :
3 bedrooms, the largest of which is 14 m² (140 cm bed) with French windows opening onto a private terrace.
In this room, you’ll find a baby bed (standard cot) + a high chair, a potty/toilet reducer, a baby bath and a changing mat to place on the bed.
A second bedroom with a 140 cm bed.
A third bedroom with three 90 cm beds (two of which can be made into one 180 cm bed).
+ A bathroom (bath and double washbasin) and WC.

There’s also a storage room for equipment and bicycles, with outside access. Also the wood clamp !
The chalet is equipped for every comfort.

In the laundry room : washing machine and tumble dryer.
In the kitchen : dishwasher ; fridge-freezer ; microwave ; pod + filter coffee maker ; kettle ; plancha ; raclette and fondue machines… + flat-screen TV, sound bar and radio + Wi-Fi, board games…

Nearby activities :
Le Mont-Dore is located in the heart of the Parc des Volcans and the Massif du Sancy, where you can take full advantage of the mountains in all seasons : hiking, walking, downhill skiing (Le Mont-Dore resort 2 km away), cross-country skiing 3 km away at Le Capucin (5 km from Charlannes, La Stèle or Le Guéry).
Less than 3km away, you can also enjoy swimming at the Bourboule aqualudic center, Lac Chambon and Lac de la Tour d’Auvergne, and fishing on the Dordogne, Lac du Guéry and Lac de Servières.
Le Mont-Dore is also a well-known spa resort, with rock and jazz music festivals. Ongoing entertainment, ice rink, bowling…
