The Chez Pyero gîte is located on a plateau, at an altitude of 950m, a few kilometers from Lac d’Aydat, between the Chaîne des Puys and the Massif du Sancy, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne.

Entirely renovated with natural and ecological materials, warm and cosy, the accommodation can sleep up to 5 people. 100m² comprising a kitchen and a living room with a cozy fireplace (wood-burning stove), 2 bedrooms: one with a 160cm bed and the second with 3 beds (3 beds 90cm or 1 bed 90cm and 1 bed 180cm), a bathroom with shower, and a private terrace. The gîte also has covered parking and storage space for skis, bikes, etc.

The department’s main tourist attractions are within a maximum 30-minute drive (Puy de Dôme, Puy de Sancy, Vulcania, the villages of Besse and Saint Nectaire), as are the main Auvergne lakes (Lac Pavin, Lac d’Aydat and Lac Chambon (swimming), Lac de Guéry, etc.). Fancy a spot of skiing? Cross-country and downhill ski resorts (Super Besse and Le Mont Dore) are a 35-minute drive away.

Not to mention the many hiking trails starting from the gîte, with panoramic views of the surrounding volcanic massifs, and the possibility of walking down to the lake!
