Indeed, the walls of this old thatched cottage have retained the authenticity of these traditional houses, giving this accommodation a warm and intimate atmosphere.

The recent renovation of this house does nothing to detract from the charms of wood and stone. On the contrary, the modern kitchen equipment offers undeniable functionality to this room, which opens onto the living room, and the wood-burning stove fits perfectly into the hearth of the old stone fireplace.

This 4-person gîte, consisting of a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with 2 single bunk beds, is located in the center of Murol, but is independent and offers the privilege of a covered south-facing terrace to enjoy the outdoors and the view of the “Saut de la Pucelle” rock.
The basement of this house is ideal for storing bicycles, baby carriages, scooters, inflatable boats, etc. for the whole family.

This accommodation is a real retreat in the heart of the village of Murol, at the foot of the medieval fortress, less than 1.5km on foot from the Grande Plage du Lac Chambon and 15km from the Super-Besse ski resort. Its location means you can take advantage of all the village shops (bakery, butcher’s and delicatessen, cheese shop, supermarkets, restaurants) without taking the car, enjoy the market atmosphere (less than a minute away) on Wednesdays in summer, and benefit from the advice of the nearby Tourist Office to organize your stay to your heart’s content.
