Here, only birds pass in the street. Nestled at an altitude of 1,000 meters in a quiet locality of the Massif du Sancy, this self-contained studio with private garden offers you a rejuvenating getaway in the heart of the Auvergne countryside.

The accommodation
The studio accommodates two people in a well-designed, comfortable space. The main room includes a fully-equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and kettle, as well as a dining table with cutlery and utensils. The living room doubles as a bedroom, with a comfortable fold-out sofa featuring a real mattress and built-in bedding. A coffee table with induction charging and Bluetooth speaker completes the set. The bathroom includes a shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and WC, as well as a hairdryer. Towels supplied

The garden
The garden surrounding the cottage is quiet and green, overlooked by the forest. An outdoor dining area and garden furniture await you. Barbecue available on request.

️ Surroundings
The accommodation benefits from direct access to signposted hiking trails and is just a 10-minute walk from the Cascade de Voissières. Nature and heritage lovers will find nearby Lac Chambon (5km), the medieval castle of Murol (6km), Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise (14km) and Le Mont-Dore (15km). Hiking, mountain biking, beach and water sports activities are available in summer and winter alike.

Practical information
⚠️ As La maisonnette is situated at an altitude of around 1000 meters, from October to March please come equipped with chains, socks or snow tires. Snow is not uncommon in the garden or on the roadside.
