The gîte is located in a quiet, peaceful hamlet, ideal for recharging your batteries. You’ll love the comfort of this place and its pleasant, flower-filled country setting. This elegant gîte has been tastefully decorated on two levels, with its own garden and parking space for your car. It is located close to the owners’ house on a large plot of land (9000 m²). Ground floor: living room with open-plan kitchen leading to the sitting room with access to the terrace. Stairs with handrails on each side . 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 160cm bed, separate WC and shower room.

You can enjoy hiking or mountain biking on the many signposted trails nearby, in the Puys or Sancy ranges. The area is also ideally situated for fishing on the banks of the Sioule, on the Lac des Fades and around the many Combrailles ponds. The Sioule Gorges are classified as a Natura 2000 area for nature conservation and species protection.
For swimming, the Fades lake (11km) has 3 supervised beaches (July and August). An ideal base for exploring the Auvergne volcanoes, Vulcania (13km), the Puy de Dôme and its panoramic train, the Lemptegy volcano… The gîte has been awarded the ‘fishing gîte’ label by the fishing federation.

There is a pitch for your boat and a special room for storing your equipment or bicycles. Bed linen provided and bed made up on arrival. Electric heating included in the rental price. Shops and services in Chapdes-Beaufort (5km), Les Ancizes or Pontgibaud.
