The gîte is located in a small hamlet on the heights of Saint-Anthème, in a typical old farmhouse that has been carefully renovated and is completely unoverlooked. You’ll have direct access to the Hautes Chaumes hiking and mountain-biking trails (GR3) to discover the rich fauna and flora of the area, and take advantage of the many family activities on offer locally.

Unobstructed view, not overlooked, on a large grassy plot, comprising a large living/dining room with closed fireplace, a large open-plan kitchenette, with 1 toilet on the ground floor and 1 toilet upstairs, 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 bed 140 + 1 bed 90 ; 1 bed 140 ; 4 beds 90 + 1 bunk bed 90), possible addition of a baby cot and 2 folding extra beds for children, cellar, laundry room ; covered carport, closed ski or mountain bike room, large partly enclosed outdoor space with garden furniture.

Hiking trails from the gite (GR3 nearby) and from the village of St Anthéme (signposted footpaths and mountain bike trails) give you access to the vast natural spaces of the Ance Valley and Hautes-Chaumes. You can also take advantage of the village’s leisure center, with its lake and supervised swimming in summer, and the Prabouré mountain activity park, with its downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing in winter, and marked hiking trails, giant zip line, rando-ferrata, downhill scooters, aerial net courses, orienteering courses for all ages in summer…

Discover the Pays d’Ambert (Musée de la Fourme, Moulin Richard de Bas, tourist train and churches…).
The Montpeloux Volcano and its summer festival are just a 10-minute drive away.

You’ll also find the “Malle aux Trésors du PNR Livradois-Forez” (Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park Treasure Trunk), with a range of books on the Park’s flora and fauna, IGN maps, board games and binoculars for observing the surrounding countryside !
