The gîte overlooks the south-facing Couze Chambon valley, where the lower part of the village stretches out. A flower-filled courtyard, 2 large living rooms, the charm of stone, the serenity of a small village classified as a “Petite cité de caractère” : you’ll be able to enjoy complete independence, peace and quiet, and be ideally situated for exploring a particularly charming corner of the Auvergne : the Auvergne of the Couzes, the lakes, the Parc Régional des Volcans, with the Chaîne des Puys now a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Monts du Sancy…
You can walk down a path in just a few minutes to the grocery store, the weekly market or the swimming pool, or climb up to the hiking trails through the narrow streets of the old village…
Several hiking trails leave from the village, and the ski slopes (Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, tobogganing) are just 25 minutes away. Fishing, swimming or lazy daydreaming, take your pick… Nature as far as the eye can see…

4 km away, Pierre cultivates 2 hectares of vines on ancient dry-stone terraces and produces wines of all colors, naturally. If you feel like it, you can visit the cellar just below the gîte… and the vineyards in Champeix (depending on the winemaker’s availability, and by appointment only).

At 85 m2, the gîte can accommodate 4 to 6 people in its spacious living areas.

It’s an independent house, with its own garage, flower-filled courtyard, fully-equipped kitchen, large dining room and separate, intimate living room.

Upstairs, the pink and green bedrooms, wc and shower room.

All linen and towels are provided. We also provide garden furniture, a wide range of tourist information, books, DVDs, games and toys.

A high-speed Internet connection is available via an independent box. The cell phone network is also of good quality.

But you can also choose to disconnect completely !

Long-term rental also available.

Important note : at the moment, you won’t be able to use the garage, which is occupied by the winegrowing business in need of storage space… We apologize for this. However, you will be able to park privately in front of the gîte’s gate and have direct access to the gîte.
