The ideal place for a successful vacation, this cocooning 40 m² gîte welcomes you in comfort. Situated at the crossroads of the many cultural excursions on offer in the Auvergne region: discover Romanesque art with the Church of Saint-Nectaire 6 kilometers away (the Basilica of Notre Dame d’Orcival, Saint-Saturnin or Issoire will complete your Romanesque route), stroll through the charming narrow streets of the medieval village of Besse en Chandesse, or climb up to the Donjon of Château de Murol, the village’s landmark!

At the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne, the area is also rich in natural heritage marked by volcanism. Let yourself be guided by the multitude of hiking trails in search of the lakes, waterfalls, ridges and panoramic views that the Massif du Sancy has to offer.

And don’t forget your taste buds! Sample the famous Auvergne cheeses, led by Saint-Nectaire, as well as local charcuterie and specialities such as truffade, potée, blueberry tart… A true gourmet experience!
