Located in the Livradois Forez Regional Nature Park, in the heart of Châteldon, a village classified as a “Petite citée de caractère”, l’Atelier is the ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries all year round. An excellent starting point for exploring our beautiful region.
L’Atelier de la Maison longue is a small 3-star self-catering cottage with garden, in a peaceful setting both in the village and in a green setting.
Renovated in a loft style, we redesigned the space and enhanced what we could keep.
Stone… Wood… Metal… L’Atelier combines old and new, comfort and light.
You’ll enjoy a large open-plan living area with a fully-equipped kitchen. In winter, you’ll warm up with the pellet stove, while in summer, the house stays cool.
An open mezzanine, as if suspended, offers a space for relaxing and/or sleeping up to 3 people, much appreciated by children (a BZ 140×190 and a 90×190 bed).
Separate bedroom with queen-size bed. Loan of cot and high chair.
Bathroom with bath, washing machine, separate WC.
Outside, you’ll have access to 2 small terraced gardens. We can provide you with a gas plancha, garden furniture… We’ve set up a small organic vegetable garden just for you in summer, so you can enjoy raspberries if you arrive at the right time.
On the practical side, on the first floor of the gîte, you can use the cellar to store your baby carriages, bicycles, hiking and fishing gear…
We have many guides available for walking, hiking and mountain biking.
Our region is the perfect destination for sports enthusiasts of all levels, whether hiking, trail riding, mountain biking or road biking. Quick access to over 30 kilometers of hiking trails, including one starting from the gîte.
Why not take advantage of your stay to practice yoga ?
Pascale, your host, is a teacher of aerial and sports yoga. Her studio, Explore en corps, is in the heart of the village, so don’t hesitate to contact her for one or more sessions during your stay.
