Entirely renovated with noble materials, this accommodation plunges you into the heart of the 15th century. The lodge features raw architecture combining stone, concrete and steel, worked by local craftsmen. The absence of insulation and centralized heating preserves the authenticity of the building, which is heated by a wood-burning stove. Designed to accommodate 2 people on 3 levels, with its sleeping area perched in a glass cabin, its living room opening onto a small private terrace and its vaulted cellar converted into a wellness area with Finnish sauna and shower.
Atypical accommodation on three levels, accessed via a pedestrian alley (parking approx. 50m away) :
– First floor : bright main room with equipped kitchenette, dining area, large shower and separate WC. The private terrace, covered and equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue, lets you enjoy beautiful days outdoors.
– 1st level : suspended in a glass island, 3 meters above the ground, the bedroom offers a breathtaking view of the ramparts of Fort Plauzat and optimal comfort with a double bed.
– Basement : a vaulted cellar houses a Finnish sauna and a second shower, for a moment of relaxation in an exceptional setting.
Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove, perfect for cosy evenings by the fire. A removable electric heater is also available.
Note : Access between levels is via miller’s ladders, making the accommodation unsuitable for people with reduced mobility.
